My Humorous Monologue

What's up everyone?! This week for GT we will be editing our humorous video, our goal? To get the whole class to laugh! From this project, I have learned a lot of interesting techniques, as well guidelines for shooting the best quality video you are able to! Such as the Rule of Thirds, keeping your shots away from shaking, even getting a crystal clear narration! I even learned how to handle a camera, as well fiddling with its (very expensive) memory card! That feeling when you can't get it out of the computer..Heh. Plus, I had a good run learning about the deadly powers of a deadline. Especially when you procrastinate it to the last few days! Not a good feeling, not at all.

Pad is extra amount of footage in a video always included in the beginning and the ending. Some may ask, "Dose that not make it harder to edit?". My answer is simply no, Pad enforces the thought that you did not cut off any words when you stopped recording. For example, lets say you were shooting a video and you wanted to say "Hello everyone! I'm Bob.", Pad makes sure your narration doesn't become this: "Ello everyone! I'm Bo"

In the making of this video, I believe the only strengths I had was past experience of using a camera and editing, as well having fun! Plus, I had good friends, who were willing to help me film the video. However, I do have a big difficulty of procrastinating, plus, sometimes I'm lazy. The only way to improve is just to have fun with it, and get it done quickly, so your clips don't seem rushed and incomplete!
